Summer Vacation 2014 (Take 1)

This year we decided to take our summer vacation in two parts. Part 1 began on June 20th, 2014 when we loaded up our suburban and headed west. Our growing family and rural living situation spurred the move from a van to a suburban in February. Additionally, we decided that instead of cramming every square inch of the vehicle full of stuff, we would purchase a trailer hitch luggage rack - a great investment so far.

After we were packed we began our three day mini-vacation.

We made stops at :

• Beaver Creek Park in York
• Fort Kearney near Kearney
• Plum Creek Park in Lexington
• Lake McConaughy
• Red Willow SRA near McCook
• Medicine Creek near Cambridge
• Uncle Buh's Museum in Hastings
• Liberty Cove near Lawrence
• and finally back home.

We had a great time and have lots of great memories and pictures to share.
