We celebrated Ella's Birthday. The girls made her a crown and gave her some small gifts. She was pretty excited about it, but didn't know what all the fuss was about.
Clare made her this card. It reads: Ella, you are a stinker sometimes but I still love you. Ahh... how sweat.
Papa took the day off and we went to the Omaha Zoo. We had some close encounters with animals, like the gorilla who came up and sat by the girls moments after punching the glass near some noisy kids.
Or the bear that thought the girls looked friendly. He walked right over and stood by them for a while.
The jelly fish were just mesmerizing.
The sharks in the aquarium were swimming right next to the glass.
Ella was in awe at the pretty fish.
We had a really good time and Ella went to bed that night feeling very tired, but having had a great day.
